Welcome to my Zephyr Innovation blog. This is intended to serve as a “day trip” into the worlds of creativity and innovation — with a special focus on libraries and non-profits.

With undying faith in the scope and power of human creativity, I hope to point to some interesting resources, projects, best practices, and prototyping happening in libraries. During my years as a library consultant and facilitator I have observed highly creative people and organizations, however these people tell me how difficult it is to spend time on innovation due to the press of today’s work (and sometimes yesterday’s work!).

I hope to be able to provide little “day trips” into work that is innovative or is about the innovative. Join me on these forays and bring your ideas and experiences to others.
